Plastic Repair on Car Exterior

Damages on the car's exterior plastic parts, such as the bumper, side skirts, and mirrors frequently occur due to parking lot accidents. HOW ARE BROKEN PLASTIC CAR PARTS REpaired?

Our technician starts by sanding the damaged area of the damaged plastic car part to create an even and smooth surface before plastic welding can begin.

Next, the plastic material is heated to a thermoplastic state so that it can be shaped. The technician then applies a fluid plastic compound to the damaged area so that the hole or crack melts together.

Once the surface is reconstructed, the damaged area is sanded smooth again. Depending on the color and texture of the area, the repair is completed to restore the original appearance with a result that blends in with the undamaged area.
